Texan Bar – The Choccy Bar of the 80s (well in my opinion)
I remember lots of sweets from the 80s but oh my god, my fave has to be ‘The Texan Bar’. I can’t really explain the taste as it was so unusual. It was milk chocolate on the outside and a kind of yellow tough nougat on the inside that was impossible to bite through. Dentists and Mums hated it!
They re-released it in 2006 as kind of a retro thing and it just sold out everywhere straight away! I used to drive miles going into random shops just looking for some of these angelic bites.
Why they haven’t released any more is totally beyond me 🙁
